Sealing Applications

Have you ever found yourself up to your knees in "swamp muck" with a trowel in hand trying to convince a tiny, fragile seedling (and yourself, for that matter) that it will survive in its new home?

Or have you ever spent hours meticulously distributing even tinier seeds along a stream bank, lakeshore, or wetland, only to see your grand vision blown or washed away by wind or water? Even for those with experience, seeding on or near water can feel as fruitless as trying to accurately place packing peanuts in a swimming pool!

Traditionally, wetland vegetation is introduced (or re-introduced) into an aquatic environment using either (or both) of two basic methods - plug planting and seeding. The SubmerSeed® Composite Seeding Technology - SCST - was developed by AquaBlok, Ltd. as a means to address the limitations and/or disadvantages of these established propagation methods to offer a versatile, cost-effective alternative to promote the establishment of beneficial vegetative growth in and around wetland and aquatic systems.

Due to their weight and physical stability, SubmerSeed® particles serve as reliable vectors - delivering discrete packets of valuable seed to the location where they are intended to germinate and grow. The result: not frustration and expense, but gratification and success - thriving colonies of color, beauty, and valuable vegetative habitat.
