BARACLEAR® is a time-release orthophosphate removal product formulated to clarify ponds, lakes, and other waterways, largely by binding soluble phosphorus – the foundational nutrient that "feeds" algal production. It is a patented composite of traditional active ingredients (primarily aluminum sulfate or "alum") combined with other non-toxic, earthen materials. Like all AquaBlok products, the material takes on a natural “pebble-like” form, with each particle approximately 1/4 to 3/8” in diameter.

Collectively, this proprietary formulation optimizes binding, sorption, density, and the gradual time-release of the active ingredients to reliably deliver ongoing treatment to the bottom of the waterway – where phosphorous concentrations are highest. BARACLEAR is not a herbicide, algaecide, copper treatment, or biological media.
